Learn to model and 3D print your own jewelry projects using Rhino 3D -THE industry standard for CAD jewelry design. With Rhino 3D you can create any type of jewelry, in any 3D shape you can imagine. Design, create and render custom jewelry designs to 3D print in a multitude of materials, from plastic to precious metals.
You don't need to have any prior background in Rhino, or even CAD design for this course. I will take you from the basics of the Rhino interface, and common Rhino commands and skills you will need to complete this course. This course comes in four parts. Begin with the basics and learning the Rhino interface. Next, dig into the essentials, with an overview of common Rhino commands and tools. In Rhino Skills, you will learn more complicated tools, once you have a better understanding of how the program functions. Finally, in the projects portion of the course, you will work through a set of increasingly complex ring projects. Begin with a plain wedding band, and finish with a set of custom engagement rings.
No 3D printer? No problem! When your designs are complete, get them printed with the multitude of online 3D printing services available. You can have them in hand within weeks! If you are a maker, designer, student, artist, or just interested in learning more about 3D printing and CAD design in general, this is the course for you!
